We want you to receive your goods as soon as possible, and we try to ensure that all deliveries run smoothly and efficiently. Depending on where you are situated, delivery times will vary but as a guide, most major destinations will be delivered within 5 working days from the time of order. Earthchild is not liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery. Also please note: If an order is made on a Friday, or during the weekend, it will only be processed on the following Monday. For your convenience, Earthchild now supplies 2 different shipping options to choose from at your preference. Please see below information in order to select the option best suited to you:
Courier-IT (door to door service)
Should you wish to receive your Earthchild goods within 5 working days, Earthchild makes use of Courier-IT as our dedicated courier partner. We charge a flat fee of R65 for this service. As an additional service, a real time tracking system is available online, which provides up to date information regarding the progress of your parcel from dispatch to final delivery. Please note that this door to door service requires someone to sign for the parcel, please ensure that you or a third party is at the delivery address to collect your parcel. Courier-IT will not leave the parcel unattended.
Registered Airmail - Post Office
Should you wish to send your parcel to the South African Post Office, due to unavailability for personal collection, we use the Post Office as an alternative method of shipping. We charge a flat fee of R65 for this, and it is not an Express service and therefore transit times may take an average of 14 days to reach their final destination from time of order (please note, this does vary depending on where you are situated, for more specific, for more specific delivery times please visit http://www.postoffice.com). Also please note: If an order is made on a Friday, or during the weekend, it will only be processed on the following Monday. We at Earthchild want to ensure the safe delivery of all your purchases. The Post Office offers a tracking service to ensure parcels arrive at their final destination safely and without any problems, so that you can monitor your purchased goods from sending through to final delivery. Shipment tracking information may not be immediately available right after the goods are shipped, please allow 12-24 hours after the dispatch before using the shipment tracking numbers.
International Orders - EMS:
EMS is an international priority mail service that provides a fast and reliable door-to-door service. Delivery can take up to two weeks, we will however endeavour to get your parcel to you in the shortest amount of time. The cost of Shipping depends on which zone your country falls under and the weight of the parcel, shipping costs will vary and will be charged to your credit card at the time of purchase. Please see our shipping estimator at shopping cart stage to determine the shipping charges prior to purchase.
Please note that all import duties and other additional tax charges such as VAT or GST are for the account of the customer, and the Post Office will require payment of these amounts prior to delivery. Earthchild is not responsible for payment of these additional charges and cannot provide any information specific to a particular country. We recommend that you contact your local Post Office for more details in this regard. The Post Office has an extensive international directory, but unfortunately there are certain countries that are not covered. Sending products to third parties:
If you have registered with us, you have the option of sending your purchases as a gift to an address other than the primary address provided upon registering. This feature is available in your account. Up to 5 different addresses can be added to your online address book. In order to ensure the parcel is delivered to the correct party, please ensure that proof of identity is provided to the Courier-IT agent if requested.
